Making the greatest changes to nursing home care since the passage of the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act in 1987, the Center for Medicare Services published the final rule for requirements of care delivery in long term care facilities on October 4. The new regulations, which you can read about here, dictated by the final rule will be implemented in phases over the next 4 years, the first of which will take effect November 28, 2016.
